Finally....

..... my fingers have touched the keyboard and started typing to fulfill my attempt of documenting my thoughts and point of view on whatever subject matter i may touch on. Be it work, life or simple interests. I would attempt to restore one passion i had when i was young - writing. Literature as a subject i studied was not all the time interesting but definitely inspiring as it was one way that an author/writer pour out his or her emotions to the known world or simply to oneself.

It has been proven that writing is a form of therapy, an avenue by which one can release several emotions. By this process a person would be able to start to heal, get motivated and even resolve issues, not to mention find the answers to the questions that he may have in the beginning of the a particular narrative or poem. Just take a look at this book called "Conversations with God". Questions asked and in the end - the author got his answers. Amazing right? But I will reserve to review that book in this blog another time :)

It is also amazing how the English (and even Filipino) language and style has changed over time and that there was a totally different way of saying things then from how we do it today in the modern world. A very good example would be love letters written today by the young and those that were written over a century ago.
I believe whatever era or age it may be - the important thing would be the objective of the writer and that being to express himself, that he should play primarily to an audience of one first then to a bigger audience where his work can be a subject of criticism or a source of inspiration.

I believe that this would be the best thing i can give back to those who may stumble upon these thoughts - the lessons one may get from my life, from my mistakes, my wins and milestones and even my interests.

It is not my hope nor goal to be a source of definite answers nor to be an authority on a particular subject or event nor do i want to be high and mighty and say that my point of view is more justified than anyone's. I write to express and i write what i know and what i have experienced. Man has several ways of leaving his legacy, documenting his history. Like footprints in the sand, i guess this is my way of leaving part of me, part of my legacy, part of who i am, who i was and who i shall be. My life's memoirs. My manifesto.
